TVM.Block Development Officer Rank list published last week. At about 100 persons were included in the main list.now there are 25 vacancies reported to PSC and PSC starts to send advice within days. But there is no such vacancy exist in the state. All this vacancies have filled by promotion.this will make a reversion process in RD department.many recently promoted BDOs and JBDOs will be reverted . This will make dissatisfaction in the department.

Management Information System (MIS) for IAY will implemented in kerala this year.
TVM.The rural Housing Division launched IAY Management Information system (IAY-MIS) software ‘AWAASSoft’ will implement in Kerala this year.Earlier Union Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Dr. C.P. Joshi launched a web enabled software for Indira Awaas Yojana named as AWAASSoft on July 16 ,2010. In kerala the state wise training proramme was completed and districts wise training for officials starts.

A new BPL survey is coming
NewDelhi.A new Below Poverty Line (BPL) survey is coming which will be completed in six months, Vilasrao Deshmukh, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Government of India, said on April 21
“Now we are going to have BPL census again. We are starting from June,” Mr.Deshmukh said. “Detailed census will be done because the last census was done in 2003. There were so many complaints from State Governments about people being left out [of beneficiaries’ lists]. Now we have said that let it be a fresh detailed survey. Within six months the first survey will be out. Final survey will come in one year,” he added.
The BPL census will be conducted by the respective State/Union Territory. The Ministry of RD will provide technical including methodology and financial support.

Easter and Vishu-Government ordered early disbursement of salary and pension
TVM. Government have ordered early disbursement of Pay and allowances of April 2011 and Pension and family Pension for May 2011 in connection with Easter and Vishu. The Salary for the month of April 2011 will be disbursed in advance on 19-4-2011 and 20-4-2011. Pension for the month of May-2011 will be disbursed on 16-4-2011 and 18-4-2011.

Govt ordered to increase 12% DA in old scale and 6% to new scale of pay
Thiruvananthapuram. Kerala Government has ordered 6% increase in DA on Revised Pay and 12% increase on Pre-revised pay to State Government Employees,teachers with effect from 01.01.2011The revised rate of D.A. due from 01.01.2011 (additional 6%) will be paid in cash with the salary for the month of April, 2011 onwards.The arrear for the period from 01.01.2011 to 31.03.2011 will be drawn and credited to the PF account of the employee along with the salary bill for the month of May, 2011 to November, 2011.
