District collectors can cancel housing schemes agreements

Government have issued an order to authorise district collectors  for the cancellation of all housing schemes agreements with LSGI secretaries.Earlier this was only applicable to EMS housing beneficiaries.

Local self government  department issued a direction  to submit non marriage certificate from a Gazetted Officer every year for getting widow pension and pension for unmarried woman above 50 years.
