Government have renewed the Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme for a further period of one year with effect from 01/01/2014

Thiruvanananthapuram.Director of Insurance has forwarded the proposal for the renewal of the scheme with effect from 1.1.2014 to 31.12.2014 and requested to enhance the premium rate.
He has proposed to enhance the Premium rate for the employees of KSEB to ry'750/-, KSRTC to
450/- and Rs300/- to others frorrr the existing rate including service tax. It was also
proposed to enhance the assured sum from 8lakh to 10 lakh.
Government have examined the proposal of the Director and order issued.

CRD issued circular clarifying that, though Village Extension Officers complete 27 years in the entry cadre, they will not get the fourth higher Grade.This is due to the hike in Salary Scale to 10480-18300.CRD says that as per the GO(p) No 85/11 dated 26/02/2011 employees between Rs8500-13210 and Rs 9940-16580 are only eligible for higher grade promotion

Minimum Wages to Private Hospital Employees including nurses order issued

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Meeting the long-pending demand of para-medical staff in the private sector for remunerative wages, Kerala Government today issued orders revising their basic pay.

The revision would cover private hospital staffs including those working in ayurveda, homoeopathy, private dispensaries, scanning centres, medical laboratories and ambulance services, state Labour Minister Shibu Baby John said in a release here.
