Thiruvananthapuram.Govt issued an order to terminate the service off all CDS accountants with effect from 31/03/2013.Kudumbashree executive directer issued the order and  give direction to all CDS to appoint accountants on daily basis.

EMS housing HUDCO will not given loan, Panchayaths can take loan from cooperative Banks

Kerala state housing board informed govt that it is not possible to
get loan from HUDCO for LSGIs. In this situation govt issued an order
to gave permission for getting additional loan from cooperative banks
to avail balance amount to EMS and IAY beneficiaries. The interest
rate up to 10.75% will be given by the govt. The loan must be taken
within 31.03.2013. The repayment period need not be 10 years. Govt
also give permission to use unutilised plan fund in 2012-13 for the
discussment of this housing schemes.

central govt has published the draft IAY guidelines for the 12th five year plan.As per the new guideline no maximum plinth area is specified .But says Thematerials for the house shall be such as to withstand normal wear and tear due to weather with reasonable maintenance for atleast 20 years. cost of photographs

Pension age made 60 for those entering service from April 2013

Thiruvananthapuram: The pension age of Kerala government employees has been made 60 for those who enter service from April 1, 2013 onwards. This was announced by Finance minister K M Mani in the budget. This is to bring into effect the National Pension Scheme.

This decision will not affect the youth as the pension age of present government employees would not be hiked. But at the same time this would prove beneficial in the future, according to the budget. The finance minister has not elaborated on this point in the budget speech. This detail was in the 107th page of the budget report.

KERALA BUDGET 2013 -MGNREGS employees will get pension and 'onakkodi'

As per the budget speech made by K.M.Mani NREGS workers who completed
100 days job will get pension after 60 years. For this purpose Rs.1000
will be contributed to the scheme instead of distributing the amount
among labours last year. Employees share will also needed for the
scheme. Another good news for the employees is that the women
employees who have completed 100 days job will get 'ONAKKODI' worth
Rs. 400 at christmas.

VEOs were cruelly attacked by members in Thrissur

Thrissur. two VEOs including a LVEO were brutally attacked in
Pazhayannor block. The attack was due to question the panchayath
committee's decision to give EMS housing installment without register
the document for 10 years.
As per the govt order it is necessary to execute an agreement with
panchayath secretary . the panchayath committee overruled the govt
order and asked the VEO to implement the scheme. report says that the
members caught the VEO and brutally beaten. The LVEO resist the attack was also attacked.

Yes VEOs have attendance register in Panchayath

Thiruvananthapuram.Decentralisation coordination committee meeting
held last week decided to introduce VEOs attendance register in
panchayaths. This decision is taken due to complaints from many
panchayath presidents and secretaries that the low implementation in
plan implementation is due to VEOs and AEs. This decision will make a
burden for many VEOs who have their offices several kilometers away
from the panchayath offices. Another interesting fact is that this
will reduce block panchayaths and parent department's power over VEOs.

Malayalam could be mandatory for govt job

Thiruvananthapuram. The govt has sent a proposal to KPSC to make
knowledge in Malayalam mandatory for those who apply for a govt job.
The commission will decide on the matter today.

according to the proposal candidates who have not studied Malayalam in
class X and plus two level will have to pass an exam conducted by PSC
for testing the language skills.

Move to introduce attendance register for VEO in Panchayath

Secretariat Assistant Rank List On March 30

Thiruvananthapuram. PSC will publish secretariat assistant rank list
on 30th of this month. Short list may be published on 16th of this
month. Certificate verification will take place at all district PSC
offices and regional offices. At about 1600 candidates will be in the
main list and 3000 candidates in supplimentary list . 3% PH candidates
will also be included in the rank list.

"Remove asbestos roofs from schools": NHRC

Kalpetta: National Human Rights Commission has recommended removal of asbestos roof tops from school buildings as it creates serious healthy hazards, including cancer, in children. The NHRC team, led by Sathyabrada Pal, visited schools in Wayanad. They visited the LP School in Kaipanchery, Sulthan Bathery and inspected registers, class rooms, toilets, kitchen and held talks with PTA members. They also visited anganwadis here and at Naykatti and Muthanga.

They observed that the quality of management of basic facilities have improved in anganwadis. They expressed apprehension over not ensuring good health condition of kids coming from forest ranges like Muthanga.
