Asianet munch star singer reason 2 grand finale was held tonight at Nishagandhi Thiruvananthapuram.ADARSH S won the munch star singer reason 2.Vishnu S Janardhanan became the first runner up and Vaisakhi P.V. the second runner up.Parvathy Mohan and Yedhu Krishnan were the other two finalists.
The winner was decided by the judges G.Venugopal Sujatha Mohan and the special judge P.Unnikrishnan.
There were 2 rounds of singing for each contestant before the first round of elimination comprised of semi-classical song and simple song. After the 2 rounds, two contestants, Yedu Krishnan and Parvathy Soman, were eliminated, and the final three, Adarsh, Vaishakhi, and Vishnu were selected.
For the last round, to decide the title winner, all the three contestants were allowed to sing a song according to their choice.
Title winner gets a Rs. 50 lakh worth modern lifestyle flat sponsored by Flair alliance builders and developers, Second prize is Rs. 10 lakh worth Gold sponsored by Bhima Jewellers, Third prize is Rs. 2 Lakh sponsored by Rajdhani Builders, Fourth Prize is Rs. 1.5 lakh sponsored by Chunkath Jewellers, and the Fifth place winner will get Rs. 1 lakh sponsored by CEMA Lighting.
The worst decision from the judges. whatever be the reasons Parvathy was consistently good in all the rounds. Really believe there was some external factors other than talend had guided the judges in announcing winners.

ReplyDeleteUnexpected result. We dont know the criterion and scale they used to measure. Ofcourse Shri Venugopal and Sujatha Madam are very good judges and no external factors affected..but it is unfair that YEDU became No. 4 and VISHNU become No. 2...how?? I am watching this program since the beginning....

ReplyDeleteyadu is not a kid nw he is in 10th & da tall boy in 12th .with in the age limit of any competition,but yadu look like lkg kid, if pakkru @adarsh compitate, you may say adarsh is elder . asianet is not afool.age not depend on size only.adarsh is da only singer who deserve becoz he has gd sound , feel,dynamic, classical knowledge,sing aii type song,flexible throat(sangathy)more over simple humble,innocent boy , who had no head weight ...dat is da real talent,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
