12th five year plan Revised guideline published

Thiruvananthapuram. Govt have published revised guideline for the plan implementation. As per the GO(MS)number 362/2013 LSGD dated16.11.2013 the plan implementation preparation process can be   started from June 2013.  Standing committees power was reduced and  panchayth committee can easily take decisions.house maintenance can only be given to beneficiaries have house with age more than 8 years. Area of houses in plan increased to 66sq m.

Tenth PAY COMMISSION REPORT SOON-Commission appointed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A panel led by Justice C N Ramachandran Nair has been appointed to submit a report after reviewing on the pay revision of government employees. The commission will make a study on employees pay hike and benefits.



Advocate T V George and retired finance additional secretary K V Thomas are the other members of the panel. Briefing reporters after the weekly cabinet briefing,CM said the        revision will be implemented as per the report submitted.

Thrissur.CM  said that the income limit for getting disability pension will be increased. The income limit for Old age and widow pension has been increased. Disabled persons also have the right for pension. This decision was taken on the basis of petition received at JSP

The insurance project for Kudumbashree members inaugurated

 Thiruvananthapuram  CM has today said that Kudumbashree is a force that guides qualitative changes in the society and that it is a model for other states to emulate. He was inaugurating the insurance project for Kudumbashree neighborhood members and Kudumbashree travels.

BPL category extended to provide free treatment

22-11-2013: Those people, who come under Ashraya project, those undergoing dialysis, those who are specially challenged, having autism and like ailments in six categories were included in BPL category so as to provide free treatment to them, said CM while inaugurating the JSP at Thrissur.

Certain uncertainties were noticed in converting APL category to BPL. AS per present law many of them cannot be converted into BPL category. But it is not right to include those in Ashraya project under APL category. CM said that such people would be converted to BPL category.

Decision on 10th pay commission for State government employees soon: Chandy

Palakkad.Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said that the government will take a decision on constituting the 10th Pay Commission for government employees and teachers in the State soon.

Inaugurating the 39th State conference of the Kerala NGO Association here on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said the Pay Commission would have to be appointed after June 30, 2014. 

Kerala Govt employees DA 10% increased

Thiruvananthapuram: Dearness Allowance of government employees and School Teachers increased by 10 percent with effect from July 2013. With this the total DA has become 63 percent of the basic salary 

Government have renewed the Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme for a further period of one year with effect from 01/01/2014

 Thiruvanananthapuram.Director of Insurance has forwarded the proposal for the renewal of the scheme with effect from 1.1.2014 to 31.12.2014 and requested to enhance the premium rate.
 He has proposed  to enhance the Premium rate for the employees of KSEB to ry'750/-, KSRTC to
450/- and Rs300/- to others frorrr the existing rate including service tax. It was also
proposed to enhance the assured sum from 8lakh to 10 lakh.
Government have examined the proposal of the Director  and order issued.

Due to salary hike VEOs will not get IVth Higher Grade

Thiruvananthapuram. CRD issued circular clarifying that, though Village Extension Officers complete 27 years in the entry cadre, they will not get the fourth higher Grade.This is due to the hike in Salary Scale  to 10480-18300.CRD says that as per the GO(p) No 85/11 dated 26/02/2011 employees between Rs8500-13210 and Rs 9940-16580 are only eligible for higher grade promotion

Minimum Wages to Private Hospital Employees including nurses order issued

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Meeting the long-pending demand of para-medical staff in the private sector for remunerative wages, Kerala Government today issued orders revising their basic pay.

The revision would cover private hospital staffs including those working in ayurveda, homoeopathy, private dispensaries, scanning centres, medical laboratories and ambulance services, state Labour Minister Shibu Baby John said in a release here.
