Thrissur. Kerala NGO union golden jubily conference started this
morning at Thrissur. A.Sreekumar was elected as new general secretary
and P H M Ismail as new president. The 5 day conferrence will end on
14 of this month after the mass rally.

National Pension System (NPS) has been implemented for the State employees who are appointed on or
after 01.04.2013. As such, those employees who are appointed on or after
O1.O4.2O13 would come under the ambit of the NPS, even if they had been
appointed in another post under the State Government on or before
31.03.2013. In this connection, various representations have been received
requesting to retain, those who are appointed upto 31.03.2013 in
Government service, aided institutions and institutions where Part III, Kerala
Service Rules is applicable, in the Kerala Service Rules, Part III Pension
Scheme when they get fresh appointments in other categories.

Selection of mates in MGNREGS additional guide line issued

Govt have issued an additional order to clarify that all the mates were selected for MGNREGS work should be from the families which have done more days work in the previous year and the mates should be changed  after each 14 days.

Thiruvananthapuram. village extension officer grade 1 becomes Panchayath extension officer. the authorities will issue the order to change the name soon. Duties will be same as the VEO.

Higher Secondary results: 81.34 % pass

Thiruvananthapuram: A winning percentage of 81.34 and 90.32 was registered in the Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary exams respectively this year.
Forty-two schools savoured cent percent success. Ernakulam gained the highest percentage of 84.82 and Pathanamthitta got the lowest percentage in Higher Secondary exams.
Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb said that 15 percentage moderation was given this year and next year onwards question papers would be prepared by Higher Secondary teachers

RDOA 54th state conference on May 19and 20- row over the programme schedule

Kottayam.RDOA state conference will be started on May 19  at Kottayam CSI retreat centre.But a big rover the issue of notice and program   schedule published by the state committee. The state conference notice like a NGO association notice and the conference program schedule give much importance to the pro UDF employees organist ions . There are 4 NGO association state leaders  two KGOU leaders and one NGO friend leader  were invited for the “suhrid sangamam” on may 19^{th .}      All of these from UDF organizations. Joint council district secretary M.R.Reghudas is the only pro left employee invited for the meeting. Employees in the RD department started agitations against the notice and the programme schedule.But the RDOA office bearers denied the allegations and said that they invited all employees organization leaders but most of them reject their invitation.

HADA implementation started in 144 panchayaths -VEOs are the field level officials

Thiruvananthapuram.Hill area development agency started the implementation of its projects to assist SHGs in hilly areas of 144 panchayaths in the state.As per the governing body meeting held on 27/03/13 , three SHGs from all these panchayatha will get Rs200000 as subsidy for taking up financial activites.The meeting also give duties to the VEOs in concerned panchayaths for the field level inspection

State employees DA 8% increased

Thiruvananthapuram.state government employees and teachers will get 8%
increase in DA with effect from January 2013. With this increase the
DA will increase to 53% from the present 45%.
