MGNREGS promotion of 5 year completed overseer to AE order cancelled

Govt issued detailed guideline to empower the engineering wing in MGNREGS in panchayaths.
As per the order

•   AEs can  check measure the works with estimate up to 1.5lakh.

• Panchayaths must appoint one more overseer if a AE exist in the panchayath and vice verse if the panchayath spent more than 60lakh last year.

• Another important decision is to cancelled the promotion of AEs to overseer.
