Treasury Savings Bank-POC Permitted - order issued

Finance Department issued permissive sanction for the issue of Pay Order Cheques on Special Savings Bank Accounts opened by LSGIs. In GO(MS)No 213/2015/LSGD dtd 29/06/2015 para 5 v LSGD clarified that detailed GO will be issued for the fund transaction from TSB Accounts. . As per new decision implementing officers can draw general purpose fund of LSGIs from treasury converting Treasury Savings Bank Cheques to Pay Order Cheques and distribute to beneficiaries as earlier.
