Government had introduced teller counters in all treasuries and the limitof the amount payable through such counters was enhanced from Rs. 20000/- to Rs. 30000/- At present the pensioners and TSB account holders to wait more time in queue to get the money through treasuries' cash counters. Director of Treasuries has therefore enhance the limit of amount payable through teller counters from Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 50,000/-.
