SECC draft will publish on 19th May

Thiruvananthapuram.Socio economic caste census draft report will publish on 19 th May. All the charge officers were directed for receive and redress the complaints from public over the draft list.the final report will publish in July. BPL list will prepare from the SECC report. SECC was started on 10 th April 2012.

VEOs go to panchayath

Reports from thiruvananthapuram says that the control over the Village Extension Officers may go to panchayath secretary. Kerala gramapanchayath asdociation submitt a representation before the decentralisation co ordination committee meeting.This matter will be discussed in the next cc meeting.

Co ordination committee requested  RD commissioner to submitt detailed report over the matter.As per the decision 3.13 the report must submitted in the next meeting that will be held on 21st may.

TVM.co ordination  committee meeting held on 14th may clear(decision 2.6) that the VEOs must impliment spill over SC projects and VEOs implement the same if there is no assistant secretaries in the panchayath.

Pay Commission seeks extension of term

Thiruvananthapuram: The pay commission has demanded the state government to extend its of its term for one more year. When appointed, the government had fixed a 6-month term for the panel. But the commission is yet to get an office and required staff.
The 10th pay commission for making recommendations regarding the pay revision of state government employees was appointed on November 30, 2013. 
Notifying the terms of reference for the panel, the government had appointed its chairman on December 10 and the term of the panel was fixed for six months. Accordingly, its term will be over by the month of June
But now the commission has sought extension for one more year. If extended, the panel report would be submitted by June, 2015.
