Kerala PSC starts one time registration of applicants from January 1.One time registration will applicable for all notification from 1st January.This facility will help appliants a lot. Each applicant will have a user name and password . It will help them to get more details about exam ,hall ticket ,short list, rank list etc.Appliants can add new qualifications to their profile. KPSC extend the validity of rank lists to 2011 April 30

Thiruvananthapuram.At last PSC did it. PSC decided to extend the validity of Rank lists Up to next April 30.The validity of some rank lists like LDC and LGS ends on December 31 this year.So the PSC's decision to extend validity will be a great healp to those who included in the rank lists.Earlier PSC's decisions to not to extend the rank lists made wide spread agitation.

Kerala university assistant grade appointment cancelled

Tvm. Lokayuktha cancelled the assistant grade appointments in Kerala University.Lokayuktha also recommended action against registrar VC and pro VC and other four syndicate members.

KPSC Kollam LGS cut off 92 !

The information we get from district PSC office is unexpected. Ie the cut off mark of last grade servant is 92 and about 2000 persons in the short list. The exam was very easy but the cut off mark is very high compared to the last LGS short list. Then the cut off mark was 68. If the cut off mark is 92 it will be the highest cut off.

Driving training do not implement without job assurance

As per the order GO (MS)No.183/2007/LSGD dated 24.07.2007 para 6.11 KILA gives a clarification that driving training do not implement without job assurance. Ie the panchayath must prepare additional project to buy vehicle.
But most of the panchayaths implement this project without concider the order. Many VEOs implement training project like driving heavy, three wheeler ,Car driving ,JCB .KILA clears that VEOs never do this. Many VEOs implemented this project and pointed out that there was on audit objection when they implement this project.

Extension of the validity of PSC rank list -Govt to seek legal advice

The state cabinet today decided to seek legal advice against PSC for the decision of the state govt's recommendation for the extension of the validity of rank lists up to April 30, 2012.
After the cabinet meeting chief minister criticise PSC as PSC members play politics. He added that govt decided to ask PSC to extend the validity of rank lists to April 3
with three conditions.
Rank lists below 4 and half years old.
Posts for which New list hasn't prepared.
Till the new list prepared before April 30.
Earlier the meeting of commission decided not to extend the rank lists of which term would end by December 31.commission observed that the rank list which enjoyed extension three times need not be extended further. PSC also observed that the extension will affect the appointment procedures and appointment is being made from the existing lists.

LOKPAL BILL PASSED

The Lokpal has been passed in Lokasabha. Left front SP and BSP walked out. 321 MPs voted for LOKPAL and 71 voted against it.
