LSGIs mandatory expenditure reduced to 60%

Local self govt department have issue an order to reduce the mandatory minimum expenditure to 60% for the financial year 2011-2012. ie the panchayaths or other LSGIs have an expenditure above 60% will get the remaining amount un spent as carry over amount. Many panchayaths will get the benefits of this govt decision.
