The Annual Performance Assessment of Grama Panchayats and Municipalities, carried out as
part of Kerala Local Government Service Delivery Project (KLGSDP), has been completed.
Of the 978 Grama Panchayats and 60 Municipalities, 503 Grama Panchayats and 11
Municipalities have been found eligible for the Performance Grant share of Rs 311 crore.
The detailed list will be available in the website www.klgsdp.org. The Local Self
Governments Institutions (LSGIs) who fail in the initial result can file appeal to the
designated appellate authority. The appeals should be submitted to the Project Management
Unit of KLGSDP on or before 10 February 2014. The detailed list of the LSGIs who are not
eligible as per the first list, stating in which area they failed will also be available in the
website. The LSGIs can make their own assessment on the failed area before filing appeal.
The final list of eligible LSGIs will be published based on the decision of the Appellate
authority.
