Govt department should follow green protocol- order issued

Thiruvananthapuram:State government has directed that all functions being organized at government secretariat, public office, Vikas Bhavan, Swaraj Bhavan, all department offices and collectorates shall strictly follow green protocol. An order on this regard has been issued by local self-government department to ensure that nobody violates the directive.
The order will now prompt organizers of events in government offices in the city to ensure that plastic products, flex boards and disposable glass/plates are not used for functions.

GPF Credit card or GPF Annual Account Statements 2016-17

General Provident Fund (GPF) annual accounts statements and credit cards showing the opening balance as on the 1st April of the year, the total amount deposited and withdrawn during the year, amount of interest credited as on 31st March of the year and the closing balance on that date , for the year 2016-17 of Government employees have been hosted on Accountant General's website.

KAS - PSC approved the special rules

Thiruvananthapuram. PSC meeting held yesterday approved the special rules sent by government .PSC suggested some amendments to the special rules. PSC asked the govt to make a clarification on the reservation of employees  category.Govt  may issue the notification after considering PSC's recommendations.

Thiruvananthapuram: LSGIs can appoint one expert in peoples plan activities as volunteer for the smooth formation and implementation of plan process.Coordination committee held on 19th october took this decision to appoint an expert .The expert will get Rs 5000 per month as honorarium .

LSGD issued orders posting 11 District Mission Co Ordinators for the functioning of LIFE Housing Mission. Programme Managers were also appointed on deputation basis in LIFE Misssion Head Office.

KERALA SSLC Examination time table 2018

Kerala SSLC Class 10 Exam 2018
The Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or Class 10 examination 2018 dates have been announced by the board.

As per the schedule released, the Kerala SSLC examination will be held from March 7 to March 26 at various test centres across the state.

Meanwhile, a recent Mathrubhumi portal report stated that the Kerala Education Department will conduct the high school level Christmas exams from December 13 to 21. The upper primary level Christmas exam will be held from December 14 to 21.

PSC wants Malayalam test for KAS probationers

Thiruvananthapuram: Public Service Commission (PSC) has recommended the inclusion of a proficiency test in Malayalam for successful candidates to complete their probation period under the proposed Kerala Administrative Service (KAS). Considering the draft special rules for KAS - already approved by the cabinet and submitted to PSC for suggestions - at a special meeting on Tuesday , PSC recommended an amendment that would save the candidates from the trouble of obtaining equivalency certificates for their bachelor degrees secured from universities outside the state. The draft special rules with recommended changes will be put up for final approval at the next PSC board meeting on October 30 and it will be handed over to the government that day.

LIFE Mission-Spill Over House Completion- Detailed Guidelines Issued

life mission issued detailed guidelines for the completion of Spill Over Houses under various Housing Schemes. The completion should be planned in a campaign mode. Contractors are permitted to engage in the campaign and will be selected through tender process. As the first phase of LIFE Mission, all Spill Over houses should be completed before 31/03/2018.
