Thiruvananthapuram.Cabinet meeting held 25/06/12 decided to create 225 Staff Nurse Posts under DME so as to overcome the shortage of staffs in the wake of spreading of fever in the state. These posts are created to maintain the ratio of nurse and patient.
It has been decided to cancel all the working arrangements and to call back the staffs to their respective offices. At present postings are being held to 1902 posts of doctors and para medical staffs in the state.
Health Minister, Chief Secretary, Collectors of all districts and Health Department officials would discuss the needs and problems related to specific areas regarding fever and appropriate measures would be taken after discussing it in the cabinet.
