Thasni Banu who works in a IT company near Infopark Kakkanad was attacked by a group of people last night at Kakkanad, who showed abuses on her and assaulted her.Thasni who was with a friend on a bike way back to home was slapped in the face by the gang.According to Thasni the assaulters were playing 'moral police'.they warned her that the culture in Kochi is not the same as Bangalore.now she is in Eranakulam general hospital.Cheif Minister has now sought report from the city police.

ReplyDeleteI am a girl working at inforpark... I have seen many girls who work in shifts are acting with their colleagues as though they are newly married... First girls mentality should change.... Kerala girls are tempt to miss use their freedom once they are out of their parents restricted walls.. Thasni will of course have a drop till her home after her night shift.. then why she want to go with her so called "friend" ... All of the companies have cafeteria with in it... then why a coffee from a rural area at mid night... of course for such girls people should react...

ReplyDeletei beleive this comment (last one) is correct. as she left her husband whom she married thru special marriage act, making headlines and issues in kerala in 1998, later left him for a christian man. later attempted suicide and was hosptialised. now with new friend? who is that friend? why no details about that man given in the media?
